SET-UP COURSE - SATURDAY 30th JULY 2011

Following customer feedback, Flyin’ Fish is pleased to introduce the first of what we hope will be many half & full day courses to assist newbies & more experienced pilots alike with different aspects of rc helicopter flying.

Our first course will concentrate on the ‘black art’ of setting up your helicopter. When customers have lessons with us, they are always surprised how much easier it is to fly a well set-up machine. Very often the set-up has more overall effect on the performance & stability of the machine than the purchase of many upgrade parts. Pilots may have been flying a model for many months (sometimes longer) & struggle with their flying, not realising that the difficulties are down to the set up of the machine.

This course will cover initial set-up through to tailoring the machine to suit your needs, ie. beginner, intermediate, advanced. The course will be generic for all helicopters, whether it be an indoor 250/450 size through to a 700 size performance machine. Although we will touch on advanced set-up, our main focus will be on the primary set up of a model.
